A fast paced novel with short chapters and a plot line that has you hooked right from the beginning. It was an interesting read with main characters that sometimes leave you frustrated and sometimes you can't help but root for. The subtle, dark humor that was interwoven was a nice touch. I rated three stars because while it was an interesting read, I can't find anything that has left me speechless or jaw dropping. It was an enjoyable, but nothing remarkable.

Soo fast paced and easy to read in one sitting. Very interesting idea for a book with interesting themes of sisterhood, men’s views on women and the cyclical nature of events and people.
My only criticism is that I wasn’t blown away by this book and wouldn’t rush to recommend super quickly but it was quick and entertaining.

An enjoyable book, but it wasn’t a thriller by any means and the satire was a bit on the nose for me. I thought it lacked subtlety at times, and could have used a bit more actual violence lol, but overall it’s a quick, fun, and mentally stimulating enough read.

Very fast-paced, I found it very easy to read.
Despite how quickly it went I didn’t adore it, I thought the ideas were interesting but kind of unsatisfying.
The way Korede just takes the brunt of Ayoola’s poor decisions, selfishness and mistakes without outward complaint or ever doing anything to counteract her behaviour is kindof exhausting.
I enjoyed the female agency + shift from traditional themes but would have enjoyed a stronger development of the relationship between the sisters.
Although I will say that last line was great ahah
