I was given an ARC of this book from the author, now that is disclosed… let’s hop into it.

This is the first book I ever read from author, Sarah Peters. When I saw what the book was about I was excited to read. For context I’ve been suffering from mental illness for the past few years. So for me to find a book that has a character facing some of the same challenges is always refreshing to see.

The main female character is Sorcha and she suffers from contamination focused obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Something that she tried to hide all her life. Then let’s enter Dimitri (I love that name) Darlington the new grumpy CEO. But as things happen in life things don’t go according to plan. Sorcha now has to face her OCD with someone she didn’t expect too. (Can you guess who it is?

I really enjoyed not only the story but also the emphasis on characters with mental illnesses. So many books are written with 'perfect' characters but Sorcha's character was so raw and refreshing! I found myself celebrating her successes when she was able to push through a task that previously she had been held back by her OCD. I absolutely adored the grumpy Dimitri and loved his adoration for Sorcha. Their letters to each other towards the end of the book made me smile so much!

3.5 star rating, thanks to Sarah Peters for a free copy in exchange for my honest review.
