We get to the final instalment of River and her harem's story. If she wants her god back, she needs to save him from his murderous father. Finding allies in the most unlikely place, River needs to figure out if they can really be trusted.

I loved the conclusion of River's story. She was such a strong woman and had a big heart. She didn't let anyone walk over her or over her monsters and god. I kinda wanna see more of her, and I hope the author will bring her up in other series, like she did with some characters.

And here we come to the end of this story.  The evil jerks (Zeus et al.) are dead, Olympus society can be rebuilt, and more snuggling can ensue.  A happy ending all around.  Final thoughts on the trilogy: The pacing was a little off and I think this would have worked better as one longer book than as three short ones.  And why did her demon form involve having the head of a cat?  What's that about?  And did she ever learn to fly with the bat wings.  It left a lot of unanswered questions for me. But still a good time, and I would definitely read something by this author again.

Eh, not my favorite in the trilogy. I just felt kind of bored with everything that was happening and nothing was really holding my interest anymore. Don't get me wrong, it did start off with a bang due to the cliffhanger in the second book but then it definitely fizzled out for me way before I reached tha halfway mark of this book.

If you read the books, well, then you get to know that River is her own monster (in a way). She can transform into one basically and I thought more of that was actually going to happen in this one. Or something entertaining like that. Nothing did and even though she was a demon throughout all the books.. she just kind of felt normal in this one.

Yeah, the romance is still there but I wasn't really interested in that either. Then there's more Olympians.. and you'd think I get more sass and action or something. Nope, that all fell pretty flat for me as well. All in all, it had potential to really going out with a bang but ended up being a dud for me.

Man this series took a STEEP down turn for me with book 3. Book 1 & 2 were amazing. I rated them 5 stars. Great original plot, loved the harem and everyone in it, original ideas, loved the main female. Loved the Greek gods stuff.

And then book 3 was just sooooo boring and sooooo drawn out. There were pages with just huge dialog paragraphs by one person talking about what they were going to do with the Greek gods. And rehashing it with different people. It just went on and on and on and on. I stopped reading at like 40% and then tried to push forward again and stopped at 75% again. At around the 40% mark I started skimming heavily, which I hate to do..and then later I literally just started skipping whole parts until they got done with the battle plot stuff. I was still invested with River and her monsters so I wanted to see how they ended up but holy hell it was seriously painful to get through this book. I read the other books quickly back to back, I was so invested and then this was just a let down.

If the issue was trying to fill a 3rd book I wish the author would have kept the fight stuff simple and done and then thrown in a bunch of sex, I would have much rather read that then read about them talking back and forth for 100+ pages about what they are going to do with Zeus instead of just doing anything.

And I love RH's but I also would have been cool with River just being with Hephaestus. Or just give him to me. So delicious. He outshined everyone else in that harem. Rawr.

Absolutely loved this book and the characters. This plot was great you got to know more about the characters and it finished the relationship really well.
