very fun read! the writing style was alright, nothing to write home about (a little fanficy) but the story was quite compelling and emotional—could just be me being a sucker for queer romance. most of the characters were well developed, villains a bit one—dimensional but nothing that hindered my reading experience. the humor was TOP TIER.

This was my first queer romance.. And I absolutely swooned over Prince HRH dickhead.. After reading such books how one can expect me to have low expectations for the "one"...uh-huh.. People who don't read romance also enjoyed it so ya buckle up and dive into royal british sexy american romantic story

I enjoyed the book however found it too predictable for my taste. The humour was entertaining, the storyline and romance were different, and it was an easy read but not anything I'll be shoving in the direction of other friends.

I had high expectations since I really enjoyed One Last Stop, and forbidden love is my number one favourite trope.

Unfortunately, it fell flat. Henry's and Alex's relationship came very suddenly. They had despised each other for years, but then they suddenly hook up? I expected a slow-burn romance between them, and I also think that would suit the book better.

The "history, huh?"-thing was cute.
