I received this book for an honest review.
It was a quick read, this twist on Little Red Riding Hood.
Scarlett is chosen by her village as that year's sacrifice to the local were-wolf. Girls that are chosen never come back.
Braden is a were-bear, a traveller who kills rogue were-animals. He comes across Scarlett and realised she is his mate.
It's a fast paced tale, action and drama create quite the fantasy. The characters are well developed and all up I enjoyed this story.

Red Riding Hood with a side order of knife throwing badassery!!!!!

Scarlet is determined to put an end to the wolf shifter terrorising her valley. It is her turn to be in the pool for the maiden to be sacrificed to him. If her name is called she will go freely to the shifter but she will go down fighting! There will be no meek surrendering to her fate.

Braden, a stranger in town catches Scarlett's scent and realises he has met his mate. But when he catches her practising throwing knives he realises that there are problems to over come first, like her aversion to all things shifter. He best keep that whole Bear shifter thing under wraps for now!

Kick ass heroine, intelligent and handsome hero with a heart. Strong storyline and a great twist on the old fairytale. Great witty dialogue and a wonderful wee world to get lost in!
