This book is problematic. The premise is interesting, the mc is 14, but subject matters are too old and the mature content is inappropriate for that age, continuity issues and errors etc numberous. I May read the next book as I was told it improves, but I am not sure.

As always, great work by this author. My heart repeatedly breaks for the main character in this new series. I really liked that these were the kids of characters from the guardians series. Will be reading more.

Pryor, kickass! Randy, comic relief... Silver, brooding bad boy with a troubled/tortured soul... There was not a moment in this book that didn't have me captivated. There were a few sad moments, but it just upped the ante for the next book. And oh what a ending! I'm excited to read the second book of the series.
The book could have truly done without chapter 12. It didn't add or take away anything from the book. I get what the author was trying to achieve with the chapter, but it wasn't needed and could have been expressed in a different way that Silver was hurting and trying to self-destruct. Overall, a good story and I'm intrigued to see where it goes from here.

I'm throwing in the towel having read about 25% of the book. I feel like I'm cringing every time Pryor speaks; she's horribly bratty, and she gets angry at the drop of a hat. The writing is unimaginative and lazy. This class of angel does this, and that type of angel does that. Every character is incredibly hot except for Randy, who has pimples (ha). Why? Because all angels are hot. Thanks. You're all dull.

The author needs to figure out what age group she is writing for. I don't now many young readers will skip over a chapter that the author writes to skip due to mature content.

the guardian series is my absolute favorite series ever, I fell in love with them in book one.. so I was so happy that lola St.Vill made a spin off series talking about the noru kids. This book was just as amazing as the guardian books. I lovd these noru kids, and Pryor and aaden are my favorite. I reccommend this book to everyone!!!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe it's over!!! This is an awesome book from the first to the last page! There's danger, adventure and excitement! There's romance, sweet and sigh-worthy moments. Tears of joy, laughter and sadness. This book has it all! I'm so glad there's a sequel!

Very intriguing. The mix of angels and demons as well as the fact the one person could be a mix of both. I am excited to see where the journey will take this mix-match team.
