Whoa! Could not put it down, went through the whole book in one day. This book is a total mind-fuck. I was actually scared out of my wits for the last 1/3 of it. But it's so much more than just a horror novel. It's peppered throughout with philosophical debates, astronomy, relationship analysis and hard science. Don't think I've ever read a fiction book where I wanted to go back and underline portions for the quality of the philosophical concepts portrayed.

I’ve heard several people say they don’t like this book, and I understand why they think that. But this book really worked for me. I found it to be clever and sufficiently unnerving/scary. The more I think about it, the more I enjoy it.
