I really liked this volume of Darkminds. It seems like the story isn't so much a Ghost in the Shell-inspired story, but this time it is much more grounded. Dreamwave went more Film Noir for this story. The art by Jo and Christina Chen, with colors by Alan Wang, is superb and fits the story really well. I'd dare say their work is better than Pat Lee's original run on the series. I'm sad they only stayed on for four issues and were not able to finish the final arc in volume 2.
