I barely have the words to describe this, so I'm borrowing a few of Mira's.
Here be dragons and sea monsters, my fellow genital cartographers, and we have a lot to learn from poking them. Let the metaphors, the language, the analogies come afterwards. They are helpful, but I believe with great conviction that what I have between my legs is not a metaphor or an analogy but something new and wonderful. Best to begin from the beautiful explosive moments of pleasure and discovery, and to let the rest come after. (3)
We deserve to have sex without it becoming a gender studies class (4)
Certainly the simplest method of fucking with a penis is “insert and repeat” but that shouldn’t be the limit of what we think a penis is capable of. (6)
The zine and I both want you to do what feels good for you. (14)
If you’re not having fun after a while, find a way to have fun or move on to something else. Fucking is all about having a good time with someone else. Otherwise, what’s the point? (30)
When you do not have the language for what you want, communication will not help you say what you want. (39)
Sadly, there's no trade school for fucking. (67)
I've tried hard not to position myself as any kind of expert, but instead as an organizer and a sexual rabble-rouser. (69)
It makes me deeply sad that this zine never published more than edition #0. Though that means that the project will remain unfinished I still fully understand why this has come to be known as a foundational queer text.
