This was a really great, digestible volume that covered the various aspects that led to the Louisiana Purchase, including the Haitian Slave Revolt and Napoleon's rise to power. It was really cool. Kids books these days slap.

This one was good. I just didn’t like the way this was told. It was kind of confusing not gonna lie. I still learned a lot. History is so interesting and depressing honestly.

History unfolds in a masterful way that's both super informative and funny. I learned so much, i will definitely need to pick up the rest of the series.

Great new addition to this wonderful series. I enjoyed learning more about Haiti and how they succeeded in fighting for their freedom.

SO MUCH information in one tiny book. Again, for an adult that claims graphic novels are not actually "reading" or "real books", I would shove this tiny tome into their hand. Again, a part of history I was ignorant of and today's kids will get to read about it and understand why the world is so lopsided.

More about the events leading up to the Louisiana purchase then the purchase itself. Still a fantastic historical graphic novel for all ages, not just kids.

Nathan Hale is hit or miss with me but this one was fascinating. I learned so much and the frame story really kept me engaged. His best one since Harriet Tubman. (Clean)

This was a great graphic novel. I think the characters going through the story were really interesting and funny. I think the humor is really great, especially in a book that deals with some pretty heavy topics i.e. racism, slavery, losing limbs, yellow fever, etc. I also really liked the illustration. It was just overall a very creative and informative book.
