The use of flashbacks is really effective in this manga.

Just as good as the anime, got chills reading it. However it was understandably a bit slow to start as expected of a first volume.

Always wanted to give this series a read! Volume 1's are always tough. You have to introduce the world, the protagonists, the backstory all while keeping everyone interested and invested. Furudate-sensei absolutely threaded the needle here and wrote an well-paced first volume. 

Early favorites include Hinata (obviously) and Tanaka. Tsukki in the early running for the worst. What a weenie. 

Excited for Volume 2 and the conclusion of the 3 on 3 match!

I started this series right as the hype was picking up for this. Now the hype is in full strength and now I’m finally interested in this again!

This was well done!! The art is not my favorite style but the story and character personalities really makes it so much more interesting. I’ve always liked sport series and this one was no exception.
