Another beautiful book and the perfect end to this series! I love that the FMC doesn't doubt herself or her business and learns/let's herself chose her personal happiness. Love that her boo is also a billionaire

I found myself rushing through this story a little bit to get to “the good parts” and eventually that meant I wasn’t getting very many good parts because I wasn’t as submerged in the story.
Overall: the drama is just too dramatic for me! And that’s the way I feel about Kennedy Ryan’s writing so I think it’s just not MY ideal romance style and that’s okay! I’m all about having a more serious subject to give characters more depth and breath and make the story feel more authentic but what I mean when I say the drama is too dramatic is that it becomes unrealistic. Almost soap opera-y. And maybe these are situations that actually people find themselves in and I just haven’t been there but I struggled with fully buying in throughout a lot of the story.

Kennedy Ryan will always have my heart. But, first i must start with the cameos. I absolutely LOVEDDDD hearing what August was up to in the book. It was so adorable. I definitely was rooting for the Waves over the Vipers and i’m so glad they won the championship . Outside of that, this story reminded me that my perfect person will find me and understand me deeply. Hendrix’s mother was emotional for me because of how close i am to mine and i can feel that passion through the pages.
All in all, i loved every second.

Love this series and I LOVE Hendrix’s story. This book has a a wonderful representation of difficult family situations and society’s expectations of women, black women. It’s ok to not want kids, it’s ok to know your worth and be confident, it is more than ok to demand what you want and not settle. I hope there are spin off stories for the other side characters. I love Kennedy Ryan books. She is a must read for all romance book readers.

Loved the writing style. Appreciated the subplots especially the Alzheimer's plotline. Great spice. But was turned off by the Black capitalism and Maverick's pushyness.
