This graphic novel about Egyptian and Nubian werewolves active during the height of Egypt's rule by the pharaohs is one of the most imaginative comics I've read in quite some time. Like many others, I read the book digitally on my kindle. The art is GORGEOUS and very cinematic. My only small nitpick is some scenes were so dark it was difficult to tell what was going on. However, this is a tiny quibble in an otherwise sensational work. Some Hollywood studio needs to acquire the film rights to this book post haste.

Unique art style. Egyptian (and Nubian) Werewolves. Black Artist/Writer/Creator. Available digitally which means instantly on your kindle? YES. Indie publishing company I'm guessing but that just means humble beginnings. All the elements of a great start to a new graphic novel series. Why 4/5 stars then? I felt that this issue was too short (it's set for a five issue run?) Also I was hoping that the plot would be a bit more fleshed out by the end of this issue other than revenge being a center point...Nevertheless, a great read. I'm here for graphic novels, comicbooks and web comics especially by Black creators! My friend who recommended it to me has a more in depth review on this book here: http://blacknerdproblems.com/site/the-pack-a-new-comic-set-in-ancient-egypt/
