Filthy goodness with a story, my fave!
Great writing and I really enjoyed reading this. Also, the physical book itself... *chef's kiss* gorgeous.

Holy fucking shit!
Y’all!
Y’ALL!!!
This book was dark deliciousness times 1000!
There’s so much that happened in this book that I feel like I can’t even begin to explain without spoilers so just know this, His girl is EVERYTHING!
Definitely don’t read this if you aren’t a fan of dark romance, it’s pushes the envelope but if you love that sort of thing, buckle the fuck up buttercup!
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!

!search trigger warnings!
The beginning of the book really got me. I was bamboozled lmao. I really liked the book! Khalid is so protective of the heroine and he will hurt anyone who hurts her, including himself. There wasn’t as much tension as I thought there would be, but it was still great. The heroine struggled with a lot of issues that are very common, so I felt she was very relatable. I also loved how the heroine and Khalid’s love helped them get past any obstacle.
“I’m going to give you the world, Kira.”
I love all of Khalid’s brothers, except a certain one, and I’m excited for their book. I am so pumped for the next book and the couple because I know there will be a lot of angst and my heart breaks for the hero and heroine.

I probably would have given it 4 stars if it weren’t for the terrible first 13 chapters. Idk what the author was trying to do there, but they were so bad that I almost DNF’d at least once a chapter.

Man. This book was a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. This was my first book by Miranda Grant and holy moly does she do a killer plot twist. This story revolves around Khalid and his Kira. Hannah is hard to love but if you can hang in there until chapter 13, boy does she redeem herself!
