The twists and turns in this story, phew!
I loved the ride that the author has taken us on, from beginning to end. The worldbuilding is so wellwoven into the story that I was on the edge of my seat until the very end.
Chapter 13 had me 🤯
This story ends with an HFN and can be read as a standalone. But honestly, you'll be left wanting more.

Cursed to Be Mine is my favorite book (so far) by author Miranda Grant. This book combines fantasy, romance, humor, trauma, and horror with an air of scandalous sexiness. Make no mistake, Cursed to Be Mine definitely falls into the “after dark” and NSFW categories, but it also has a darn good plot with at least two twists that’ll catch you off guard. It also has well flushed out characters with backstories and growth. I’m really looking forward to the next installment in this series and to getting to know some of the characters introduced in the latter half of the book better.
Given that, I do have one main critique. I felt that the second half of the book was more rushed than the first half. I would’ve liked to see the same level of depth in the new characters introduced as I saw in the characters the story started with. I also would’ve liked to gain more knowledge about the world these characters live in. I wanted the FMC to learn more and have more of a place in this new world, and I wanted to learn more alongside her. However, I understand the constraints against this. One is that this book was primarily advertised as sexy and that scandalous romance books don’t tend to even come close to the level of plot of depth Miranda Grant has already achieved in this book. Two is that this book is already 400 plus pages and that adding more detail would significantly lengthen the book. So, all I can say is that I hope the upcoming books in this series do include more of this content and that I don’t think my critique should stop anyone from reading Cursed to Be Mine.
