This volume was my favorite. It even brought a few tears to my eyes.
When I am reading this series, I feel that I belong to this family, no matter the age of the reader. It's the perfect type to read along with kids. Awesome fiction to have in the classroom, too.
The adults have loving, wise reactions to any situation even when at first they can feel hurt, too, but the resolutions are always perfect. I love all the characters, their difficulties, their passions, and how noisy and amazing this family is.

This volume focuses on 12-year-old Harbor (the oldest of the kids) who is going through changes that will impact her family, goals (playing basketball), and friendship. She often feels overwhelmed and unappreciated, having no space and privacy, so she decides she wants to move in with her dad. This is a solution that may bring some peace and extra space, but it is a huge decision to make, and she must ponder well if it's the right one.
It is an amazing read for parents and children who are in the same situation. Also, we see how one decision can hurt and affect others as well. But the best thing is that communicating well our feelings is the right thing to do. Honesty above all towards others and ourselves.

I am always looking forward to the next book from this series. Love it.
