DEAD.
I CANT EVEN.
I hate people that use all caps but it’s all I have in me. My stomach is still all in knots. This murdered me, butchered me into little pieces, then sewed me back together leaving me riddled with scars. It’s breaking my heart that there isn’t another book. I NEED more Andriel. I haven’t shipped something this hard in a long time, and never something so volatile. When there were only 5 pages left I thought my heart was going claw it’s way out of my chest for the loss of more Neil and Andrew. I knew I wouldn’t get the answers I so desperately wanted, and can’t say I whooped with glee at Riko’s demise. But I still felt major vindication. The ending didn’t give me what I wanted, but it gave me what I didn’t know I needed.
I sure as hell whooped with glee at the end of that game!! And Andrew breaking Riko’s arm! I wanted to SCREAM! I might have actually screamed out loud. I had to leave the room to read the last 20 pages I was so tense. My son and husband kept asking me if I was okay and I was getting tired of telling them to leave me alone.
Seriously, a novella of their summer would tear me apart. Did Andrew let Neil touch him more? Did anyone go pro? What about Jean and Kevin? Did Kevin and Wymack become more father and son? What about Wymack and Abby? Did anyone even pass their finals?! What about the new team members? Because I’d like to know what Andrew is going to do to them to make him feel Neil is safe around them. In fact, I’d like to take them on a night out to Columbia. I’m gonna need to see what they’re made of and that they’re fit for my cinnamon roll.
I spent the last half of the second book and the first half of the third book wanting to cry for the foxes because they were too stubborn to do it themselves. And the last half of the third book I wanted to hurl from anxiety. Whether that anxiety was more nerves or excitement I can’t say. I mean I knew they’d win, but I was so invested I was a wreck.
I can’t say I’m left wanting, because that is far from the case. Just so many questions and an obsession I won’t be getting over anytime soon.

Wasn't really expecting much but it bles my mind. Nora's characters are so complex and amazing, once you let them into your life, they'll never leave.

oh my. what a masterpiece that was. each book just got better and better. I found it so hard to be faced with saying goodbye to neil and Andrew- all of the foxes and their world really. the plot was so engaging and the characters felt so so so real. and the dialogue...miss nora...this is your best work! I don't know if I can express how much I loved this book, thus I'll try to convey it through quotes:
"he was every inch his father" the contrast between neil viewing his father as an evil figure in his life and then eventually channeling his father to survive...yes...
"neil had survived and made it out of there. kevin had escaped when his life crashed down around him. jean was still there, keeping it together the best he could" omo i love it when the way people deal with trauma is explored
,
who had andrew survived: drake or himself?"
,
im tired of being nothing
, and lastly because I can't rewrite the whole book
"Fight because you don't know how to die quietly. Win because you don't know how to lose. This king's ruled long enough- it's time to tear his castle down."
. all for the game has to be one of my favourite series of all time. I'll never forget the impact each one of the characters had on me and I can't wait to read the fourth book. I hope to do an analysis on the whole series one day. it was soooo beautiful.  thank you nora for sharing your story.

This book series just gets better and better. I didn’t know when Neil and Andrew would get together because their relationship always did confuse me but when they did it was all perfect. I wasn’t expecting it and expecting it at the same time.

Also the final ending to Neil’s relationship with his father ended perfectly. I really wanted him to die but I wanted Neil to do it but it’s okay as long as he’s dead. I also kinda wanted more time with Neil’s father because we heard so much about him throughout the 3 books and only got like 3 pages of him all in all. But that doesn’t change that this book was spectacular

I loved how Neil finally got to relieve all the bourbons he had onto the team and finally reveal who he was. I wouldn’t change anything about it. I really am going to miss all these characters
