A decent read with a disappointing ending. And I don't mean an "I didn't get the outcome I wanted" ending, I mean a "you call that an ending?" ending.
Solid 3 bumped up from about 2.5 for the SiP cameos.

Very enjoyable visuals - the desert landscapes were beautiful. The characters were drawn well too, and there were few enough of them that I wasn't confused too often.
A pretty good story as well - a good hook at the beginning, with a little bit of a mystery. By the end, though, I thought things had gotten slightly off-track. Certainly not the strong, emotional ending that SiP had.

Amazing. No other words for it. If you love graphic novels and sequential art, you must read this book. The writing alone is superb!

This is an amazing story. Julie is an accidental witness to a science experiment going wrong/being sabotaged and is caught in the fall out. She accidentally gets some experimental alloy on her and from there on this story unfolds.

The whole story is about what actually happened with the science experiment, what the alloy is, but most of all about how the characters caught in this mess react.

Moore takes the time to flesh his characters out and make sure the readers gets to know them.

this results in a gripping sf story, with memorable characters and very nice drawings.

Overall Echo is an awesome non-stop action-packed thriller that actually inspired me to learn more about physics. A great exploration of the morality of war and the potential dangers of future technology.

Amazing.

This was a great read! In general, the characters were a lot of fun and the story was very compelling. My only complaints were that it was a little tonally inconsistent, especially towards the end, and the climax seemed a little rushed and kind of anticlimactic after so many great villains and builds earlier in the series. Still very worthwhile. I'll have to dig up Strangers in Paradise now.

An experiment gone wrong, a woman with superpowers, and the end of the world.
Very interesting!
