I've been wanting to read this for a while, even before I knew Mindy Kaling had written it. And it lived up to my expectations! I would love to be in a production of this play.

Also, there's something really cool about reading about parodies of famous people....I'd recommend this play.

Since I know next to nothing about Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, there were many times when I felt like the jokes went over my head. However, the strange, joyful plot of this play was amusing and kept me turning the pages. I would love to see this performed.

Watched the play twice, watched the Mindy Kaling bootleg, read it thrice, had a dream about the script, have talked about it with more than 3 separate people, want to host it as a basement play.

Yeah I think it’s alright

I love Mindy so I wanted to give this a read. It was funny but I think it didn’t age super well and some of the references were lost on me. But the writing was still snappy and clever.

Cute but slight. Mindy is a populist at heart. This one goes off the rails a bit but has a sweet ending. So all’s well that ends well.

I’ve had this on my shelf for 7 or 8 years so I’m glad I finally read it, but some of the word choices/phrases don’t land well in 2022.
