Another amazing story from Silver Bell Falls!

What a wonderful story of love, family, and friendship. Sometimes living in a small town where everyone knows your business can turn out to be the best thing in the world!

Cassidy and Beckham are two lost souls, who don't really know they are lost, until the find each other.

Ms. Chase does an amazing job as usual and I love the mentions of her other series and how she ties it in so perfectly!

3.75 stars. A pretty good story in all, thought maybe i'd have been more invested had i read the rest of the series, but a sweet and emotional holiday read for sure.

Retired NFL superstar, Beckham, decided to mourn the death of his father by traveling cross country on a rode trip with his trusty side kick Maize. What he did not expect was to crash his van and end up in a small town of Silver Bell Falls. Cassidy has always loved her family's B&B but decided to close up during the holidays to make the renovations her dad always put off. With no where else to stay Beckham ends up staying with Cassidy, and an instant spark happens. But can they work through her renovation nightmares and his feelings of loss and trying to find himself? Can the holidays bring two unlikely people together with their HEA as an end result? Samantha Chase once again brings love back to Silver Falls and makes the Christmas holiday a joyous occasion for her characters. The town has a way of helping each other and bringing out the best in all of them. This is another great read to add to the series.

Another great book from [a:Samantha Chase|1250276|Samantha Chase|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1362103294p2/1250276.jpg]! I love the hallmark Christmas movie vibe to this one - perfectly timed book release for the holidays!

Beckham and Cassidy's love story gets a fast-track thanks to a snowstorm and some home-improvement repairs that bring them together! There are references to the other Silver Bell Falls books, so I recommend reading those first! (and I caught a call-out to Magnolia Sound as well). I love when authors weave their story universes together!

Could this series get any better??? I love how they were thrown together and seemingly complete opposites. When stuck together due to weather it was fun to see them come together and overcome fears, past experiences, and see how characters from past stories work together to make it all happen.

Cassidy Ryan took over her family's Silver Bell Falls Inn. It needs renovation and Cassidy decided to fix it during the winter through Christmas so it'll be ready for Valentine's Day. (

This was sugary sweet Christmas fluff. The H is on a cross country soul searching trip to honor his recently passed father. The h is a small town girl who recently took over the inn her parents owned after they retired. She’s a stubborn lady who’s in the midst of renovating before she re-opens. When the H has a deer induced car wreck he ends needing emergency accommodations at the last minute. Then he finds himself snowed in and stuck.

They are both adorably awkward with each other at first but inevitably find themselves falling for each other. They both know it’s temporary and they shouldn’t but eventually the temptation was too much too resist. Overall it was a fairly low angst read. It would have rated higher if not for a few small things.

First, the heroine’s stubborn pride got annoying eventually. Then , while they were definitely into each other I didn’t get that fiery can’t resist each other vibe that’s implied here. They are both annoyingly logical and stoic. They made the mature, responsible decisions but that’s NOT romantic. Her dropping it all to go with him or him letting go of the list coaching dream to stay. That’s romantic. Maybe not realistic but I don’t read this stuff for realism and neither do you. No one does.

Story 3/5, Heat 1/5, Angst 2.75/5

Medium burn, there are some mild, vanilla sexy scenes starting around 45%.

Condoms used, no virgins, no manwhore, some push away/hesitation from both, no OW/OM drama, there’s a separation near the end that spans a couple weeks or so. No cheating, no cliffhanger and HEA.

This is a safe read.

Cute, cookie cutter Christmas romance!
