3.5 stars that I am going to go ahead and round up to 4. This was another book who's cover I saw and figured it couldn't possibly be any good....well, color me pleased! I mostly liked the characters (could have gone a little deeper on a couple of them, IMO), I liked the adventures, I liked the ending....my main criticism, though, is that for a dystopian zombie book, it was actually a little bit boring and there were a couple stunts I wanted to call shenanigans on. Stabbing a zombie in the chest with a gun as if it were a sword? What the why?? There were a few more that were similar that kind of made me cringe. Oh, and all of the character names were weird. Why??? Oh well. At the end of the day, the lion made up for everything. I now want a pet lion. I'm totally cool with that. ;)
