I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I was very happily surprised by Collision! I was looking for a light read and ended up sucked into this book, finishing it in just hours. I couldn’t put it down! I really enjoyed the author’s style of writing, and I thought the story was very engaging. I loved the characters, Mila and Cal, and the peripheral characters were actually great and well-rounded, rather than just being there for filler. The plot of Collision was very suspenseful without being too much. I think that’s something that not many authors balance well. The heat in this book was PERFECT! A nice slow burn, but hot nonetheless. I’ve already started the second book in the series, and I’m looking forward to reading more by Sofia Aves! Well done!

You have our FMC, Mila. She was held up during a bank robbery. She witnessed tragedy when her coworker and friend got killed. Due to a mistake, made by a rookie cop, the thief got away. Fast forward 5 years, it was fate that she collided with that same cop.

Since that day, Callium or Cal, has been after this thief for 5 years. When he met Mila, he fell hard. When he realizes that Mila was that bank teller, he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

This is my first story by Sofia Aves. It was such a fantastic story. If you enjoy crime/dramas with romance, then this one is for you.

I loved this book, it had me hooked from the first chapter all the way up to ending. I can't wait for the second book to come out so I can read it as well. The character development was so amazing especially for the Main male character and main female character. I love that they were able to have a happy ending

This was a suspenseful ride where I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop.
The history of the two characters and the unexpected way their paths crossed not once but twice, the secrets that were kept and the eventual resolution kept me turning the pages.

Romantic Suspense books are my jam, I love them. What I found different with Collision; it is written in the 1st person with dual POV. I haven't read too many 1st person romantic suspense. This book was easy to read and written well.

Right from the start it drew me in and I immediately liked Mila.

There was just the right amount of romance, quick to start but slowed down.

Overall this was a well written, entertaining book with wonderful characters. I would definitely recommend this book to others and as this is my first book from this author I look forward to reading more from her.

I did find a few continuity issues but they were negligible, the start was a little clunky but really a non issue once the book progressed.

Lots of action in this, though there were also several things that didn't make sense. Overall, it was a fun read.
