It was super fun to read Gregory's recounting of her touristic exploits in my native Pacific Northwest. The very first comics included are about Mount Rainier and the Mima Mounds - both places I consider my own, to an extent. Gregory also talks about several train trips across the continental United States, as well as some international "comics celebrity" adventures, and a section at the end about going to an artists retreat center on Whidbey.

Solidly lands in my graphicnoveltravelogue obsession.
Some of the comics get overly wordy (even feeling like illustrated prose at times), but this feels like a quick every night on the go piece, for the most part. I haven't read her other work (except for a few pieces in anthologies), particularly her most famous Bitchy Bitch character. But I get the sense that this diverges from her fiction quite a bit, in style. This feels a bit more like something by [a: Gabrielle Bell|57722|Gabrielle Bell|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1384857420p2/57722.jpg].

It feels just a bit surreal to read tourist accounts of your neighborhood. :)
