This beautifully written and illustrated children's book tells the story of Alice Betteridge, a deafblind Australian woman born in the first part of the twentieth century.
Alice Betteridge is often compared to the more widely known Helen Keller, and the two met when Keller visited Australia in 1948.
This illustrated book can be enjoyed by all and I would recommend it for all ages. The inclusion of tactile Braille at the end of the book was a treat.
Disclosure: I received a complementary review copy of this book.
