For some reason I found I had a harder time keeping track of who was in what groups, I think maybe our characters were a little too spread out, or were they just a little to interchangeable. I still very much enjoyed the book.

I'm a zombie/horror novel addict. The South Reclaimed had promise. But, it wasn't enough to keep me glued to the pages. You want to be on the edge of your seat. You want horror filled scares. This read more like regular fiction that happened to have zombies in it. I'm also typically all for multiple pov's. But, this was just confusing. I did like the experimenting doctor story line. I just don't think I'll be waiting in anticipation for part 2.

This is the second book in what looks to be a trilogy. A group of survivors trying to make the best out of a horrible situation. I do like that no character is safe. I am not a fan of zombie books that try and keep all the main characters. Looking forward to the third book.
