Not much thoughts about this, there wasn't as much piss as I expected (based on other reviews). But I always enjoy this genre, whatever this genre is.

A bizarre, surreal fever dream of a book! Full of vivid imagery and rich metaphor.

I finished it thinking "what on earth have I just read?!" but I was glad I have.

The narrative is slow, there is not much to drive it, but it is a short book that is quite quick to read.

The blurb talks of a queer awakening, which is indisputably present, though not straight forward, but it is gentle tender queer relationship, in contrast to the viscerality of much of the rest of the book.
