A wonderfully staged adventure with plastic dinosaurs causing havoc around the house. This book is a really fun read with reoccurring Dino characters, my favorite is the Parasaur that looks like he's screaming

The first explanation of why the parents started doing this was because they had little money and time - yet the pictures show SO much waste of food and did they REALLY break the window just to have a dinosaur adventure???? The gross factor of when they said the kids were told they could still eat the cereal off the floor because the dinosaurs didn't have germs...um the FLOOR?!? Some say "coolest parents", I'm thinking "child services".....

Cute premise. Funny pictures. Kinda got my son freaked out that his toys would come to life.

This is sooooo cute, although sometimes the thought of the cleanup afterwards made me cringe!

I had not heard of this book until I saw that it took second place in state-wide voting for our Young Hoosier Awards. A lot of effort went into making it! I could not believe how the book went on and on, with many clever situations. I can just imagine challenging students to come up with an idea for their dinosaurs (or something else). These dinosaurs take mischief beyond Elf on a Shelf. I followed the link to their twitter page and saw that there is a sequel, with the dinosaurs at school. Now I'll have to check that out, and I can't wait until next Dinovember!
