Like other Suze Orman books (really, re-editions of a single Suze Orman book), this one effectively addresses a variety of financial problems I don't have.

Please read this book

This is a must-read for every woman (really, every person). Suze walks the reader through key steps to owning your financial life and making sure you and your loved ones are as prepared as can be for any eventuality, with plenty of action steps and goals to achieve.
The version I read was copyright 2007, so try to find a more updated version if I've exists, and also keep in mind that some of this will be shocking to those of us millennials (border millennials)—like, it sure is hard to have a year's salary saved by the time you're 25 when you don't have a full time salary until you're 25 (this is a guideline recommended across the financial web, but just in this book)—but there is a wealth of great information in here.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked this book. It had good financial advice for women who need it. I'm not completely ignorant of finance but also not where I'd like to be financially either. The chapters were broken into specific topics, so you can easily skim past anything you might be quite familiar with in order to focus your time and attention on things foreign to you. I feel I have a much better grasp on basic finances now, which was the goal!
