So what do you do when you have been awake sine 3:30 AM. You read about being a Navy SEAL. Now...military books are not really my thing and I did get a bit bogged down in the names of weapons, etc but overall I think the author did a good job with his goal. The author talked a lot about hard work and mental determination which is a good message for today's youth.

While I don't think ZI will necessarily recommend this for MSBA because of its narrow scope I would recommend this book to students who enjoy and are interested in the military.

Interesting book, but I definitely would have liked more action. Maybe because of that I like WWII and 'Nam memoirs better then modern ones.

basically a list of what equipment they use in the Navy. Skip it.

Also apparently he lied about operations, his relationships with deceased SEALS. All to make money. If I had known I wouldn’t have read it.

A great book. Webb's story talks about mental stamina and excellence. Prepare for a story about an amazing man's journey to become a Navy SEAL. Would recommend.
