Loved this series

I just finished this series and I don’t want it to end! Loved reading this! Angela, Alex, and Alice have become some of my favorite characters.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Harper Collins for my copies of this book. I have both a Netgalley copy and a paperback copy. I am a HUGE fan of Lindsey's work and Angela is one of my favourite characters of all time. So it was with great excitement and sadness that I started this final book of the I Heart Series.

We kick off around 10 months after the end of I Heart Forever. Angela and Alex have been settling into life with their little baby. We begin with Angela preparing for her first day back at work and of course in true Angela style, it does not go as she expects.

Alex is such a great dad and really does raise the bar for real-life men. Alex is so good with his little girl and has always been a pretty much perfect husband. These two really have relationship goals.

Jenny is one of my favourite characters and she was true to her character in this book. Not only did she play the best friend she always has since the two met she also showed her feisty side when she needed to. I am going to miss Jenny and I'm still lobbying for her to have her own full-length book.

This book is full of the typical adventures we have come to expect from Angela and the gang. There were many hilarious antics and laugh out loud moments throughout this book but there were also some real relationship moments. The book was realistic with the characters feelings after some incidents.

Hawaii sounded like bliss and as a Lindsey fan I was screaming about the number of crossovers in this book from not only Lindsey's other books but also from another one of my favourite authors. I'm not telling you who but I squealed when I read that bit!

I loved the ending of this book and I am saddened to say goodbye t these characters but they will always have a special place in my heart. I am looking forward to seeing what Lindsey will bring for us next .

This is my first taste of the I Heart series. I instantly fell in love with Angela and Julia. Angela is a bit neurotic and Julia is more free spirited. Yet, they balance each other out as good friends. Another person that has a good heart is Angela's husband. It is a good thing that he is so nice as he did act like a "typical" male. For example, when he acted like he was on his death bed due to a sprained ankle. The nurse was nice enough to admit him to the "man flu" ward.

Than there is The Mothers of Brooklyn and their leader Perry. The MOBs are like the Housewives. I have not seen any of the shows but just some clips Perry has a major crush on Angela's husband. The way she would try to get in Angela's good graces was funny.

The fun really began when the women went to Hawaii. There were so many laughs and antics to be had. The vibe of this book is cozy mystery, comedy, and contemporary. Book your passport for laughs galore with I Heart Hawaii by Lindsey Kelk.

I really dragged this book out because I simply didn’t want the series to finish! It was such a lovely ending to the 8 books. I’m so sad that it’s all over!

It's the end of an era! I can't believe that after
nearly 10 years of reading 'I Heart' books,
this is the final book in the series. . .

I have absolutely loved the 'I Heart' series!

It was great to reunite with Angela, Jenny, and the gang to see what hijinks and catastrophes they could get up to, this time in Hawaii.

Cocktail-infused shenanigans, mum guilt, slander, and a best forgotten incident with a horse all made up this wild adventure.

I loved that this book's undertones were a little bit more serious than those of its predecessors. It felt like watching the characters mature.

Without giving anything away, I thought the ending was absolutely fantastic and gave the story a very smart twist.

I'm holding out hope that maybe one day we might get to return to see what they're all getting up to.

I discovered Lindsey’s genius writing through this special ‘I Heart’ series years ago and I have actually lost count for how many times I’ve re read this series in between waiting for the next instalment.

What an exceptional way to end the I Heart series! I actually feel quite emotional finishing ‘I Heart Hawaii’ knowing there won’t be another book to follow on.

I love both Angela and Jenny equally but for very different reasons as they are both very unique characters. Whilst reading this story it was like meeting up with old friends and Lindsey had a way of bringing in other events and characters of previous books in the series to make you laugh and fondly remember. Angela is trying to have it all being a new mother to Alice, going back to work then she has to deal with The MOB gang! - they are a bunch of other amusing characters. I would love to have Alex as a husband, he is so supportive of Angela and a wonderful father to Alice.

The setting of Hawaii was magical and this is definitely a place I would love to go to. Obviously it wouldn’t be a trip that goes smoothly with Jenny in charge (but I won’t go into details!) I was laughing and I was crying, not sure how Lindsey does it but I would love to know. Genuinely didn’t want it to end but I couldn’t stop turning the pages! 😊

‘I Heart Hawaii’ to me is about friendship, family, love and being there for each other especially when times get tough ❤️ I would give ‘I Heart Hawaii’ a million stars, actually make that for the whole I Heart series!
