This was useful to read. There are so many groups reacting in this series and so many individuals affecting those groups, the Companion helped provide a central informational unit.

For a "Here's a little reference book about all things Dark-Hunter" thing, this was relatively amusing.

I haven't actually read the full companion, only The Dark Hunter Christmas short story. It's just a short story about a man feeling lost without his family. I thought it was very sweet.

This book fully explains the Dark-Hunter world that Sherrilyn Kenyon has created in her series. An interesting read if you are involved deeply into her series and want to know more about being a Dark-Hunter.
