Keep My Son helped me feel as if I understand mental illness better, as well as opening my mind to the very real people behind these illnesses. Not only that, but it explains the nuances and barriers in the mental health care system. Told with an overtone of hope and humanity, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a ray of light in a dark time.
