A very interesting and intricately woven tale of a polyamorous couple who want to take it to the next level. Major points for creativity and openness.

“Space–the vast, lonely, soundless void. Except when you live with your goddamn parents.”

I really liked this! It’s the first book I’ve read with a poly relationship. It was really interesting to see parents try to encourage the norm but also not push it on their child. The art style was simplistic and colorful
I’d like to read more and am looking forward to the next volume!

"Open Earth" kind of introduced me to the topic of polygamy. It has several rather explicit sex scenes, so it's definitely for an older audience. It's good I was reading it in the comfort of my own house and didn't need to cover the pages from curious eyes'.

If you’re looking for a super quick (very adult - wowza) graphic novel to read, this may be just for you.

One of the things I enjoyed most was inclusion of Spanish words into the vocabulary of the characters. I’ve never learned any Spanish so I had fun google translating the words I didn’t know.

The illustrations were absolutely gorgeous, but I felt the story itself was too short. I would have liked the characters and their relationships to be fleshed out a little more (maybe have some scenes from Carver, Franklin & Hex’s perspectives).

I also felt like I was jumping into the middle of a relationship with no context. Does anyone know if there is/will be a vol 2? Perhaps a bit longer. I didn’t really get to know our cast of characters, how they met, or how they fell in love and decided how their relationship was going to work.

I loved how the polyamory was so normal and effortless in the world that was created , and still shown as a relationship like any other.

I totally didn’t pick up on the fact the Franklin was non binary, though. That went right over my head.
