Kymmenen nuorta eristäytyy pandemiaa huvilalle ja kertoo toisilleen tarinoita rajoituksista piittaamatta. Ei mitään uutta auringon alla, sillä jo 1300-luvun nuorilla oli mielessään lähinnä seksi.

Heerlijke verhalen die je echt ´pakken´. Schrijfstijl is niet voor ieder weggelegd, maar gelukkig houdt de schrijver je binnen door momenten die aanspreken met her en der een beetje humor en schunnigheid.

I really fought hard to finish this one. Obviously I'm not easily humored by adultery and other crimes that steal the belongings as well as grace from people. Towards the end the female companions started to warm up to the concept of free love - as was the plan. But they also shared loud laughs about wife beating and of all the stories glorifying the wit and dominance of men. A sad book with lots of sayings to quote if one was a vile person.

I also expected some kind of developing of characters as it has been stated the book has a good frame story. But to me it seems the stories were just laid there on top of each other, narrators being young and fruitful, to offer voice for nude scenes without a dirty old-man's tone.

I don't find these writings harmless nor beautiful prose.

I only read day one and day ten for school and I liked it! This book is certainly one I'd like to finish :)
