Indigo/Vlosh

I felt so bad for Indigo and admired her strength. Even though she lost so much, she put her new mate above herself and ended discovering a new weapon against the Mulgor. I liked Vlosh from the beginning. While he was a strong military male, he didn't let that blind him from what his mate needed even while he was suffering and trying to win a war.

How is the author's writing? Good
Is there sexual content? Yes
How is the story narrated? Third person
How would you describe the pace? Fast
How would you describe the characters? Semi-developed

I read this story as part of the five book Bundle (ASIN: B01AEG893

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are written very well and so is the story. Things flow smoothly and the reader is pulled in from the beginning. Indigo is a strong woman and has to be as she saves her best friend from the alien invasion and makes it to her parents cabin. Things are not easy for Indigo and after going out to find food she comes back with a little to find that her family has been murdered. She starts to panic and leaves but feels horribly guilty and weak for not burying them first. As she is driving away she gets the message that she has been mated so she heads to the Draconian center in Reno. Indigo is grieving for her parents and best friend when she is sent to meet Vlosh, her mate. She is having second thoughts because he didn't come meet her and the guilt she is feeling for her parents. Vlosh has waited a little long in getting to his mate, so his dragon is being very pushy when he meets Indigo for the first time. He has a hard time being patient but after he figures out what happened with to her family, he does give her a little bit of time. He can't really be around her though because his dragon is pushing so hard.
There is action and intrigue in this story and more parts where Indigo shows her strength and how good of a match she is for Vlosh, head of the Draconian forces. I loved the way it was written and getting to see them interact and watch Indigo come back into herself and Vlosh relearn his priorities. This was a great story and a good continuation of the series.
