Seana wants a baby and her time is running out. At age 38 she will be considered too old to have a child and in their society there’s no getting around the laws. In order for Seana and Greg to have a baby someone has to die. They’ve asked everyone in their families and even tried to purchase an accidental death, but those were far beyond their price range. Their only hope is William, a man related to Greg by marriage. But William has everything, looks, fame, money. A perfect life. How can they convince him to die so they can have a baby?

Wow. This short is a different dystopian than I’ve read so far. With a Zero Population Growth Law, in order for a woman to have a baby someone in your family has to die, either by choice or by accident. Accidents don’t happen very often and those that do rarely go out into the open market for people to bid on. Greg and Seana’s last chance at a baby is William. Much to their surprise William agrees. However, he has some stipulations. And boy, are those stipulations unusual for a time when artificial insemination is the standard route for procreation. You see where this is headed, right? Mmmmmm…mmmmm…mmmmmmm. All-in-all a wonderful dystopian with hot steamy goodness and a surprise at the end.
