The worst part of this book was the author's description of what having a seizure is like. One can't fucking force themselves to talk while seizing. The way Daniel H. Wilson described having a seizure made it obvious he did no research into epilepsy before writing this. I have epilepsy and have also done a lot of research into how epilepsy effects different people differently. I hate when fiction authors don't put research into their fiction.
Other than that, it was just alright. The story wasn't interesting. There wasn't much standing out for this book. The climax and decline of the story's plot left much to be desired. It almost felt as if this was a book written to describe discrimination to a white man who has never felt discrimination before and needs a character like him to be able to understand.
