I have to plug the local library for putting this book front and center on a Pride June shelf and adding it to my life! Thank you Hercules- Contra Costa Library! I love your Pride shelf, I feel included.

Delightful graphic novel that is part biography, part mini-bios of various influential and important figures in LGBTQ+ history. The reference section is quite robust, which pleases my librarian brain greatly. A super accessible and entertaining introduction to a variety of diverse LGBTQ+ narratives that expertly ties together past, present, and future to show how queer people of yesterday are still influencing and inspiring the works and lives of queer people today.

I love hearing queer histories and especially about those heroes who are not as famous, the ones who are lost to history, every day people who lived inspiring lives. I also love this author's research into these people and their lives - makes me want to make some of those stories myself

Thanks to Edelweiss for an eARC copy of this book.

My first eARC review! Yay!

This was such a fascinating read on various LGBTQ+ people throughout history and how their lives influenced modern day times, on personal, political, and social levels. I loved hearing more about trans people throughout history especially, because these people are so often ignored or dismissed by those who claim that it’s a trend or something new. It was very well researched, and I loved learning about each of the lesser known (in my experience) people in the book.
