This book is small, but there’s so much in it. Two people, two friends, talking to each other about their experiences as children of alcoholics. Their own addictions and struggles. And finding in each other, I think, a sense of belonging. At times the voices meld, it can be hard to tell them apart. But I think that’s on purpose—certainly, it worked well for me.
