I absolutely loved this book. I ended up reading it in two sittings.
I loved Gauri and Vikram. I need more witty banter in my life.

More than once I found myself re-reading beautiful lines and jotting them down.

Full review to come.

At first I was disappointed the book had a different main character than the first book of the series. But it didn't take long before I enjoyed the book. It's a fun story that feels like a fairy tale

A Crown of Wishes is the spellbinding sequel to the enchanting debut A Star-Touched Queen. Vikram is a young prince trying to prove himself to an unfriendly council, and Gauri is an enemy princess who trusts nothing and no one except her own fighting skills. When they are given a chance to compete in a magical tournament to win a wish, they must work together to survive and succeed. A Crown of Wishes is full of the same vivid description and imaginative characters that brought A Star-Touched Queen to life, and it continues the immersion in Indian culture. Fans of Stephanie Garber's Caraval and Sarah J. Maas' Court of Thorns and Roses series will enjoy this book.

Have you ever had that feeling in the pit of your stomach where you're just hit by the sudden desire to read? Kind of like a need, really, it tells you that you need to read like it tells you to drink water or eat food. Do you guys get it? HAHAHA im so lousy at words

Still very pretty writing. I actually don't remember too much of the first book, but I feel like I enjoyed this one more.
