Fun little beginning reader that lists items you may find in a person's house, according to a mouse. Mouse & Bird get kicked out at the end because they aren't something you should necessarily find in a People house. The End. =)

I prefer my kid's books to tell a story and this definitely doesn't. In fact it is mostly a list of words. And not a particularly interesting set of words. And not the best art either. The idea isn't bad but the execution wasn't up to the better Seuss books.

Oh my! My 4-year-old has made me read this book to him every night for the past week. Why it's so appealing all of a sudden, I may never know.

10/10 read it to the birds so they could know what was in a people house and they liked it. Said outside was still better tho

Spunky illustrations and a fun, rhyming little tale that will help kids learn the names of household objects. This book was totally my childhood.

A very beginning book. This is for 2-3 year olds. A mouse and a bird explore a people’s house with simple words. It didn't really feel like Dr. Seuss. It was too young for both kids. The nephew gave it 3 stars.
This is one of my least favorite of Dr. Seuss.

This was cute! We sort of read this together, my son identifying some of the ones I knew he could. The things in the house are fun and the rhymes are well done.
