Hey guys, so I just finished Realm of the Goddess by Sabina Khan and whew.....man.....gods....that went by rapidly. Seriously, the entire story was fast paced, like one moment the main character is doing one thing, then next she is like onto tomorrow afternoon or something. I think the author writing in such a rushed fashion hindered and helped the story. For one, the travel scenes werent too much of a bore, however, I would have liked some more interaction between Shiv and Callie.OMG I love Shiv. He is just....mmmhmmmm......there aint no way Callie could have resisted his charm. And I admired Callie as well, during the storyline. I think she acted in a completely rational manner considering she learned of all the irrational aspects within her world. WHich mostly included chaos caused by HIndu Gods and Goddess and enraged demons. Yep. Lovely right? Just a normal day in the neighborhood. Ha. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed how Hindu mythology was tied so effortlessly into this book. ANd not just because I like the realm of mythology, but just because how the author wielded it within the pages...ahhh, so perfect and so intriguing. Truly. Though this story did remind me a bit of other stories that have Hindu myth elements, like The Ash Mistry Chronicles and The Tigers Curse series, but I suppose that is to be expected. NOnetheless, I enjoyed the book,so sad it ended so abruptly and I hope the author has written a sequel. .ANy questions?
