Disclaimer: I received an e-copy in exchange for an honest review.

Cameo's done it once again! This is such a fantastic series, and I get completely drawn in as soon as I start reading. Broken Wings is a wonderful sequel and picks up exactly where Hidden Wings leaves off, pulling you right back in to Emma's life, along with Alaine, the Guardians, and all their problems. I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment in this series; I can't wait to see what happens next!

5 stars =)

Really

Santa is the work of satan... Also continuity is a thing and rather important for authors to maintain. You should check imprint and maybe you won't have a gaping flaw in your story where one guy has to.give up his immortality to enter he'll but two others of the same ilk can fly right in.

A lot of things have happened since. 2014 Was a very hard year for myself so all the reviews are showing up on the same date. I can't explain why they are, if the ratings are justice or accurate I can also not say when I truly read these. I'm just going to say 2014 on the same day added just to keep the year right if not the month...

My love for this series is so big. Cameo Renae is such a lovely author and she has totally blown my mind with this series. This second book is even better than the first one and is filled with action and romance. Throughout the book you start to get an idea about things that will come to the surface soon, but none of your thoughts get confirmed. It's great to keep the story exciting and totally makes me want to keep reading this series.
In the end... My mind got blown and my heard broken. Cameo just tore my heart out, crushed it, put it back in and forced me to feel love for something I should hate.
Oh how I hope this will all turn out well. I can't wait to get my hands on the third book in this series.

This was such an amazing book. As soon as I started it I couldn't put it down. It keeps you captivated from beginning to end.

Emma now knows about the Guardians. They are Angels sent to Earth to protect humans. In Emma's case, she and Elaine have several Guardians sent to protect them. Lucian, Lucifer's second in command, has broken away with his own faction and has vowed to kill all Nephilim (offspring of Angels and humans). Elaine, Emma, and Lucifer's adopted son Ethan are the only known living Nephilim. They feel the only way to stop the war against Nephilim is to bring to Lucifer's attention what Lucian is doing, in hopes if Lucifer feels Ethan's life is in danger, he will try to stop Lucian himself. However, the only way to get to Lucifer is to traverse through the underworld and survive all its unholy inhabitants.

Emma is already so much stronger than when we first met her. She knows she had to do whatever it takes to try to stop Lucian. In this book she shows just how courageous and brave she really is. Nobody has ever attempted to face all the levels of Hell to try and reach Lucifer and lived to tell their story.

I can't recommend this book enough. It is filled with action, suspense, and so much more. Must Read.

So much going on

Non stop action. Love Emma. She’s been through so much in such a short amount of time. But she’s been resilient.

Broken Wings was a darker story compared to the first two segments of this series. But that is to be expecting since our destined half breed heroine has to travel to Hell to make a deal with the devil in order to save all of those she love. Majority of this story is among the many levels of damnation. I can honestly say, each level was just as surprising as the actions that took place within them. We see a transformation of Emma as she embraces her strengths, recognizes her weakness and comes to terms with the unfairness of decisions others have made that she cannot change. One perplexing angle that emerges is somehow Kade is put on an even playing field. While he is very much vulnerable he is now obtainable! I wanted to shout for joy and yet at the same time ball my eyes out. An very unexpected twist was the introduction of a possible love triangle. I did not see that coming. While love triangle can be tiresome, this one is not your mundane love triangle and may prove to be highly entertaining to watch unfold. My only complaint with this story is there was one inconsistency. I don’t want to divulge too much information, but in the beginning decisions and justifications were made on who would travel with Emma. Later in the story something happened that completely invalidated the information presented. All and all I enjoyed this novel and would be curious to see what happens next.
