I'd put off reading this purely because I didn't want to start a chunky book series. However, I really enjoyed it...

I love the concept and Paige is such a badass MC. The only real negatives is that the chapters are really long and a bit wordy at times. Putting that aside, I have been drawn in and am now looking forward to the next book!

4/5 ⭐️ Only 4 stars, because understanding the politics and dynamics, different types of clairvoyants and names was very confusing at the beginning. But once you understand how everything works, the story is amazing and Paige is a boss bitch

Everyone should read this. The Bone Season is genuinely one of the most compelling, well written fantasies I’ve ever read (up there with Six of Crows for me) and Paige is such a good protagonist, she feels so real. 

If this was adapted into a movie or tv show I could 100% see this being the next hunger games.
