Amusing and interesting - some of the couple's takeaways seem poorly informed, but other stories quite interesting. It was a quick read and mildly amusing, though I would not necessarily recommend it.

Told from the POV of both the husband and wife, this is a humorous and sometimes touching story of a couple who sold their house and possessions and took to the road in an old motorhome. I had expected more travel narrative but it turned out the authors did more musing about their past early married life and experiences as parents, along with self-analysis of letting children go out on their own. The travel part of the story was pretty minor and didn't include much in the way of details, which was disappointing (for all of the talk about getting to Oregon, once "here", it was very briefly described) and I expected more experiences of their international travels but just a brief mention was made in the epilogue. All in all a quick read and I would recommend for those who are grappling with an empty nest.
