I checked but the book is written in 2011 not 1911. I have a never ending admiration for the victorian heroes, they did amazing things that should be viewed against the backdrop of victorian thinking, regretfully the author didn't enter the modern era with his thinking, that regretfully is inexcusable in my opinion. Could have been a good book without the author disgracing Oscar Wilde, deny the effects of climate change and make a case for the return of foxhunting to proud Albion and that in the space of three pages.......
