Incredible book. Main character really shows what having an eating disorder is like.

At first, I thought it'd end up being a dnf, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It's deep, brutal, disturbing and an utterly powerful piece of writing.

It really tugged on my emotions, and I felt like I could relate to some of the experiences Lia had growing up. It highlights the struggles many young girls go through, and how easily things can get out of control.

It's definitely something I would recommend reading, but be sure to approach with an open mind.

This was deep and emotionally draining. It was a reread for me this year but i understood the topics even more. Surprisingly, the reread hit just as hard as when I read it the first time, which is a first for me. I loved even though it was hard at times. I absolutely recommend, unless it’s triggering for you. keep in mind as you read.
