Hickman generates years' worth of ideas every time he gets his hands on a story.

Lots of great big superhero fun in this one! Hickman really gets the dynamic that make the FF so special, and using those pieces he starts his tenure on their titles really well to drive the story and create plot-points that will resonate throughout the series and beyond. I really loved Franklin and Val's stand-off against Norman Osborn (and Franklin's commitment to his cowboy character was insufferably cute), and the Council of Reeds was fascinating, but I'm really taken with the greater overall mystery with the Four Cities and the need for Doom to save the day and can't wait to see where that leads. As a long-time FF fan, I love where Hickman is going with this!
