And Then There Were None is, in my opinion, the best novel written by Agatha Christie. So when I learned that she had adapted it into a stage play, which had a different ending, I was desperate to get my hands on a copy. And wasn't it worth it! This play does an excellent job of showcasing the very best of the novel, and the ending to this is not only lighter than the original novel, it's also - in many ways - more satisfying. Overall a brilliant play, and I only wish I could see it performed!

A murder-mystery classic, but it feels a little dated nowadays. A fun read (or watch, if in a context of a play), but perhaps shouldn't be everyone's first choice if they have options.

Although it's a wonderful adaptation of the novel, I didn't like the fact that Agatha Christie decided to change the ending of the story. I know she did it because audience wants to see (or at least wanted to see) happy endings, but I find the original ending much more interesting.

I read this for my capstone project in school as I have to write an artist's critic paper on some of Agatha Christie's work. WOW AM I IMPRESSED!!! I found the entire story not only easy to read, but very well thought out and gripping. Overall I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it as a quick but highly enjoyable read.
