Not even the gorgeous lesbian smoochy panels can save this title for me.

Subscription CANCELLED. Sorry Katie baby, I just can't do it anymore.

There is a whole lot of “meh” in this series. I’m not sure how much more time and cash I’m willing to invest.

I have no idea how this issue relates to the previous issue, but on the other hand, this issue doesn't seem to relate to the previous issue I didn't understand, which is... good? I liked seeing more of Batwoman's past retold through flashbacks. I don't know what the big deal with the Colony is, or who/what the colony is, but hopefully that'll be explained at some point. I always knew that there was a risk of being generally confused with not being familiar with Batwoman's past in the DC universe when I picked this up, but Marguerite Bennett is a great writer and makes it worth me continuing to pick this up... although I rather wish it felt like this second block was a coherent, internalised story in the way that the first arc was.
